Lafayette Energy Sustainability Advisory Committee endorses energy efficient window coverings study
Lafayette residents can take advantage of discounts on energy efficient window coverings through September 11, 2017.
The Lafayette Energy Sustainability Advisory Committee (LESAC) is endorsing a pilot study conducted by Hunter Douglas on the energy savings of window coverings. LESAC encourages residents to take measures that reduce energy costs and lower carbon emissions.
The Department of Energy has recognized installing window shades as an effective measure for energy savings and to beat the heat in the summer or keep the cold out in the winter.
Hunter Douglas is partnering with local Lafayette dealer, Hunter Floor and Window Coverings, to offer discounts and incentives on Duette® Architella® honeycomb shades for City of Lafayette residents only. Lafayette residents can save up to $450 on energy efficient honeycomb shades. As part of the promotion, consumers are asked to participate in a follow-up survey and study to evaluate the energy savings.
Incorporating and using energy-efficient products in your home helps your community with its energy efficiency initiatives. For more information visit: https://www.hunterdouglas.com/promotion/lafayette
