The film is being show in conjunction with the exhibit “Women’s Art, A Persistent Path to Identity” opened at The Collective Community Art Center on February 13.  The exhibit, curated by a team of local female artists, is an eclectic mix of work in a variety of mediums from local artists, representing expressions of identity as women and artists.

The mission of this exhibit and the corresponding events is to promote local and emerging women artists, encouraging them to share their original work with the community. In doing so we celebrate with them, the persistence of art making as it contributes to the artist’s identity.
