Geology of Colorado - Foundation of History

Wednesday, December 4, 2019

The opening line for Professor, Lon Abbott's University of Colorado webpage states that he "fell in love with mountains during his Boulder youth." He brings that love of the mountains - and the rest of Colorado - to bear in this fun and accessible talk on Colorado geology. Rocks, landforms and Earth’s mighty forces are the subjects of exploration, but this talk is also about people. How has the geology of our state affected our lives through all of history as well as today? This program, sponsored by Lafayette Open Space, will help you appreciate both the human and natural history of our home! This program is for adults and teens. Questions? Please contact Martin Ogle at Martin@EntrepreneurialEarth.com .
