Active Minds 2019 Adult Lecture Series

Lafayette Public Library and Lafayette Senior Services are pleased to co-sponsor a 2019 adult lecture series in partnership with Active Minds, a Colorado organization dedicated to creating engaging programs for adults featuring discussions of contemporary global issues, historical themes, and other matters of importance. Please join us at our first presentation in February, and mark your calendar for future discussions!

Energy from renewable sources (solar, wind, geothermal, hydro, etc.) is an important part of the future of energy in the U.S. and the world. The issues involved are complex, involving technical challenges, economic issues, as well as environmental, political and social factors. Join Active Minds as we survey the current state of renewable energy and look at the various forces that will influence how these resources will evolve in the future.
