[ARCHIVED] Old Town water line repair work on December 11

Intermittent Water Outages Old Town Lafayette December 11, 2019

The City of Lafayette Public Works crews were able to repair two (2) water valves on December 10, in a continued effort to isolate the leaking water valves on Emma Street.  On December 11, City Crews will begin intermittent shut downs of the water system in the approximate area of Public Road on the east and Carr Avenue on the west; and Cannon Street to the north and Kimbark Street to the south (water outage map).  These intermittent, temporary outages can be anticipated throughout the day and are planned to end by 5:00pm.  City crews will continue to work on the system over the next few days in an effort to repair the leaking valves on Emma Street.  Additional outages and road closures may be anticipated during this time.  Updates will be provided on the City’s website as they are available.  If you have any questions, please contact Public Works at 303-661-1277.
