Public Notice - Prairie Dog Relocation

Colorado Parks & Wildlife has approved a live prairie dog relocation permit for the City of Lafayette.  This work will be conducted in accordance with the City's Prairie Dog Management Policy beginning in the month of January.  The Colorado Parks & Wildlife permit allows for a timeline of January through August 2020.  

The take site is defined as Powerline Trail, a City property with utility easements and trail, west of Caria Drive and south of Euclid Circle.  The receiving site is defined as Rock Creek West Open Space, a city-owned Open Space parcel west of 120th Street and Rock Creek Circle.
