NEW sessions for outdoor fitness.

The sun is still shinning and Bob Burger Recreation is taking advantage and offering group fitness outside. Soak in some vitamin-D and feel good while working up a sweat.

These are fee based classes, please make payment at the Recreation Center Service Desk before the first day of class. Registration instructions are listed below.  


outdoor bootcampOutdoor Bootcamp

Outdoor Bootcamp is cardio, strength, and core all wrapped up into 1 power hour. Class is held outside under the beautiful Colorado sky, where you can maintain social distancing.  Amy Francis is your instructor and she will lead you thru different stations like; line work, sprints, lunges, bear crawls, body weight movement and many more. Please report to the softball fields for each class, it is not necessary to go into the recreation center after you have paid. The first day of class is September 8.

Core, Strength, PowerCore, Strength, Power

Core, Strength, Power is a muscle building and cardio conditioning class focusing on high repetitions and light weight. Exercises will utilize a mixture of fitness equipment and body weight to sculpt, define arms, back, legs, and glutes. Classes will also contain an intensive abdominal/core component.  Michael Baird, a Certified Personal Trainer is your coach and he will make sure you work each and every muscle.

Sunset Yoga at Waneka

Sunset Yoga at Waneka

Unwind from your day with Sunset Yoga while acclimating your body and soul to the setting sun. This one-hour yoga class encourages a slower pace while offering a thorough yoga experience. Transition through a vigorous array of flowing asanas designed to open your body after sitting behind your desk or running through your busy schedule. End by settling your thoughts with relaxing meditation. Class will be held at the entrance to Waneka Lake on the grass.

OUTDOOR HIITOutdoor HIIT

HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. Class will be held on the lawn outside of the Fitness Studio of the Bob Burger Recreation Center.
