Arapahoe Road Utility Work

Traffic News

Beginning Monday, Oct. 19, work will begin to install a water line across Arapahoe Road near Hwy 287. This utility work could take a week; weather permitting. Daytime lane closures are expected on Arapahoe Road between 8:30am and 4:30pm with work beginning at 7am and ending at 7pm.

Traffic control signage, delineators, and flaggers will be on site to enable motorists to move through the construction area in a timely and safe manner during work hours. After work hours, all lanes will be open with some uneven surface areas. Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detours and traffic control signs, and flaggers. Please reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area.

For construction related inquiries, contact Town of Erie Construction Inspector, Jason Mraz, at 303-926-2877
