Celebrating a Beautiful Tradition

Invitation to Participate

Please join us in the creation of a lovely and meaningful community altar, commemorating our deceased loved ones. Ofrenda or altars are an important part of traditional Día de los Muertos celebrations in Mexico. Displays with photographs, favorite memorabilia, and various symbolic ephemera are created in the home and public spaces for the month of October, through the second of November. It is believed that the more colorful and personal an ofrenda, the better it serves to invite the spirits of the deceased for celebratory reunion. Thank you to Lupe Cruz, for consulting us about our ofrenda!. The Collective Community Arts Center, 201 N Public Rd., Lafayette, CO 80026 303-661-1261
