October 13, 2019, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ S. Public Road Trailhead
As we walk or bike along Coal Creek in Lafayette, we often pass natural wonders and subtle signs of the area’s human history without even knowing they are there! This stream corridor has an amazing story to tell – one of pioneers and coal mines; wildlife and ancient rocks; waterways; farming and stage-coach stops and much more. This guided tour will be led by naturalist, Martin Ogle and feature stories that will be part of a self-guiding pamphlet. This leisurely 3 mile
walk begins and ends at the Public Road trailhead on Coal Creek. For more information and to RSVP (required) contact Martin Ogle at Martin@EntrepreneurialEarth.com.
